Rigorously tested and validated across both ICAR research fields and farmers' fields in Odisha and West Bengal, this biological solution targets methane (CH4) at its source during cultivation. By integrating the formulation into standard soil management, growers can mitigate field methane emissions by up to 10-12% compared to untreated control fields, making it an impactful tool for promoting climate-resilient, low-emission agriculture. ICAR-CRRI and RM Agrico Private Limited signed a MoU in January 2025 for this product direction.

Usage Guidelines

Dosage: 1 kg per acre for both Kharif and Rabi seasons

Transplanted rice: apply on the 7th and 21st days after transplanting

Direct-seeded rice (DSR): apply on the 28th and 45th days after seeding

Mix 1 kg of formulation with 9-11 kg of inert material such as dry sand per acre

Broadcast the mixed formulation evenly across the field

Ensure ponding water depth is less than 2 cm during application

Resume irrigation 2-3 days after applying the formulation
